What information is available on the

Public Review Drafts Page?

• Public Review Period

C&S Electronic Tools

1. Open your browser and enter http://cstools.asme.org.

2. Click on the Public Review Drafts link.  

Applicable Committee Pages

1. Click on the My Committee Page tab.

2. On applicable committee pages, click on the Public Review Drafts.  This link will take you to the complete listing of all ASME Codes & Standards proposals that are currently out for public review.

ASME.org Home Page

1. Open your browser and enter http://asme.org.

2. Click on KnowledgeBase then Standards in the top navigation menu bar.

3. Click on the Publications link in the left navigation panel.

4. Click on the Public Review Drafts link in the main area.

The Public Review Drafts link will take you to the complete listing of all ASME Codes & Standards proposals that are currently out for public review.   On the C&S Electronic Tools site, you can access:

1. • Public Review Drafts: a complete listing of all ASME Codes & Standards Proposals currently out for Public Review.

   • Public Review of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Proposed Revisions

   • Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Case Review

What information is available on the Public Review Drafts page?

• Title of the standard

• Scope of the standard

• Price of the draft

• Engineer responsible for the standard

• Public Review End Date.

Public Review Period

• 30-day – A draft that is small enough in size that it can be printed in ANSI Standards Action – the draft is posted on this page (free).

• 45-day – The electronic draft is posted on this page (free) (do not include full drafts, only portions of a draft).

• 60-day  – Notice of the draft is on this page, but the draft must be requested from ANSIBOX at ansibox@asme.org.

NOTE: All Reaffirmed and Withdrawn Standards now link directly to the standard.

What information is available for the

• Public Review of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Proposed Revisions

• ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Case Review?

• Proposals and the designated Record Numbers

• Proposal Drafts

• Staff Contact's Name (appears as a link to their e-mail address)

• Comment Period End Date for the propose revisions displayed on this site coincide with ANSI public review dates.

• Public Review Draft File link (provides view access to the file)

NOTE: For Intent Interpretations listed, only the proposed revision portion of the proposal is subject to public review.

NOTE:  Public review is not required for Code Cases. However, comments on the Code Case portion of the proposal may be submitted for committee consideration.
