The VCC saves all your previously sent email. If ever the need arises and you need to view or use a sent email, the feature Email History, will allow you that option. Email History is a feature within the VCC that allows you to use the text of a previously emailed message in order to avoid having to re-type similar information. This feature can save you a lot of time.
From the VCC tab, click the Email History link:
Once you have accessed the VCC, click the Email History link again (1, below)
Use the drop-down menu to select the particular email that you wish to use. The list is sorted by date and email subject (2)
Click the View Selected Email or Load Selected Email button (3)
Options:
View Selected Email – This allows you to view the breakdown of the email recipients (e.g., committees selected as primary recipients, individuals selected as carbon copied recipients, etc.). From this point, you have the option of loading the selected email.
Load Selected Email – This automatically generates the distribution list used for the email you selected, as well as loading the message itself (i.e., only the Subject and Notes fields). From this point, you can re-use or modify the email.
Note: The attachments previously sent will not be uploaded to your email.
