Many component records can be included on a single component ballot. The use of this feature depends on your committee's procedures.
The Code Case record type includes Record Sub-types of Code Case, Reaffirmation, and Rev & Code Case.
The Entire Document record type is a simplified form that has a one-to-one relationship with the Entire Document Ballot. This record type cannot be used on any other type of ballot. The use of this feature depends on your individual department’s procedures. For more information, consult your Department’s Staff Guidelines.
The Interpretation record type includes Record Sub-types of Interpretation, Intent Interpretation, and Revision of Interpretation. This record is used for interpretations and is associated with the Interpretations Ballot. The use of this feature depends on your individual department’s procedures. For more information, consult your Department’s Staff Guidelines.
Interpretation records are automatically created through a public facing Interprettion Submittal Form. Once an Interpretation has been issued, it can easily be found and viewed through the public-facing Interpretations Database. For more information, see the Interpretations Process Document.
The Reaffirmation record type uses the Component Record Form, but it automatically sets the Record Sub-Type to Reaffirmation.
The Membership record type is the PF-1 record form. All memberships must be processed using this record type, and the Membership Ballot is the only ballot type that can be used with this record type.
Note: The use of the features listed above depends on your individual department’s
procedures. For more information, consult your Department’s Staff Guidelines.
